Women Empowerment Organization, in partnership with Tearfund, implemented a specialized training for female
journalists on climate change reporting under the project “Empowering Women for Climate Resilience in Dhi Qar”
to equip 15 female journalists with the skills and knowledge to report on climate change through an inclusive lens.
The training was held for 3 consecutive days and covered a range of topics, including the basics of climate science,
data-driven storytelling, interviewing techniques, and ethical considerations in climate reporting.
