From Marginalization to Empowerment: Advancing the Role of Women and Youth in Halabja's Peace and Security

On March 11th, 18th, and 25th 2025 WEO organized three roundtable discussions in Halabja under the "From Marginalization to Empowerment: Advancing

the Role of Women and Youth in Halabja's Peace and Security” project, with the lead of WfWI, funded by the UK government. The roundtables brought 64

key stakeholders such as local government officials, security forces, CSOs, and women’s rights activists in Halabja. The objective was to provide a platform

to present the findings of the policy briefs and facilitate discussions on policy implications.
