Women Empowerment Organization, with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM), within the “National Women’s Consultation on Preventing Violent Extremism” project, implemented a training course for 3 local organizations (Al-Firdaws Organization from Basra Governorate, Human Line Organization from Nineveh, and the Asuda Organization from Sulaymaniyah.the training included many subjects, such as: Conducting consultations and writing reports to understand Iraqi women’s perspectives on violent extremism and how to prevent it.These organizations began holding consultative sessions with women from various to discuss the prevention of violent extremism in most Iraqi governorates, and these sessions will continue until the end of March 2024.
