On 21st and 22nd February, 2024
Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) conducted a “Coordination Mechanism for the WPS Agenda in Iraq “, in Baghdad. The goal of the project is to establish a coordination mechanism among the WPS actors on different levels to enhance the effort and to better follow up the implementation of the Women Peace and Security Agenda in Iraq.
The meeting was attended by members of the Iraqi Parliament, representatives of ministries and government institutions from the Federal Government, as well as representatives of diplomatic missions and international and local organizations.
