In December 2025 and January 2026, five intensive capacity training sessions were held in Sulaymaniyah as part of the Pathways to Peace (P2P) project for youth civil society organizations and informal groups. The trainings included youth empowerment and engagement, conflict sensitivity-peacebuilding and peace dialogue, Equality and Social inclusion (ESI) mainstreaming, Security and Safety, and Inclusive Decision-Making. These trainings focused on supporting youth organizations in developing their institutional structures، strengthening their leadership، and establishing inclusive practices that enable them to operate effectively and resiliently in complex environments. The project is implemented by People In Need (PIN) in partnership with Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) and is funded by the European Union.
