On International Women’s Day, Sunday, March 8, 2026, Women Empowerment Organization (WEO), in coordination and partnership with Youth Hub, organized several activities, including a panel discussion titled: From Voice to Leadership: Women and Youth as Peacebuilders in Shaping the Future of Kurdistan.
The panel discussion emphasized the importance of women’s and youth leadership, their participation in social life, and their vital role in promoting comprehensive development and social progress in the Kurdistan region.
Other activities included introducing young writers and an art exhibition showcasing paintings by young women.
This event served as a platform to highlight women’s achievements and participation, bring together young leaders and representatives of cultural communities to share experiences, and explore ways to strengthen the role of women and youth as key actors in building a more just and prosperous society.
