Women Empowerment Organization, in partnership with #Internews, starts the implementation of Open Iraqi Initiative project. The Steering Committee of the project, which consists of a number of representatives from Iraqi Parliament, Federal and Kurdistan regional governments and civil society held its first meeting on Monday, June 6, 2021 to discuss gender-responsive budging, gaps and challenges in Iraq and its role in providing support to women and girls in Iraq.
