On November 16 and 17, 2025
Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) launched the "Cash for Work" program as part of the "Employment Prospects for Socio-economic Integration (EPSI) for refugees, IDPs, Returnees and Host Communities” project in Halabja and Sharazoor. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH agency. This activity provides services to the public at each of the centers (Sharazoor Water Directorate, Halabja Olive Garden, and Halabja Tourism General Directorate) and plays a significant role in engaging community members, especially youth and women, while offering a safe and supportive environment for their development.
