Women Empowerment Organization (WEO), in partnership with Tearfund, organized a series of roundtable discussions bringing together civil society organizations,
climate experts, community and religious leaders, and local authorities in Dhi Qar under the “Empowering Women for Climate Resilience in Dhi Qar” project.
With over 60 participants involved, these dialogues created a collaborative space to examine the climate challenges facing Dhi Qar and identify gaps in current
advocacy efforts. Through shared expertise and open discussion, participants co-developed key recommendations that will shape the upcoming Climate
Advocacy Toolkit. These insights are an essential step toward building stronger, more coordinated climate action across the governorate.
