On November 16, 2025,
Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) launched the “Cash for Work” activity in Rania under the Employment Prospects for Socio-economic Integration (EPSI) for refugees, IDPs, returnees, and host communities in Iraq project. The project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by GIZ.
This activity supports the rehabilitation of the Rania Youth and Sports Center, a key social cohesion space that plays an essential role in engaging community members—particularly youth and women—and providing a safe and supportive environment for their development.
