Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) proudly took part in the final event of the project “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements on the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda in Three Fragile Contexts”, implemented in partnership with CARE.
Ms. Suzan Aref, WEO’s President & Founder, moderated a dynamic panel discussion with government representatives and civil society organizations engaged in advancing the WPS agenda in Iraq. The session explored the realities of implementing the WPS agenda, highlighting persistent challenges and gaps, while underscoring the essential leadership role women play in driving this agenda forward.
