Within the Tebayi project, Women Empowerment Organization in partnership with Mensen meteen missie organization and in cooperation with the KRG Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs held a workshop for religious leaders from Erbil, Dohuk, Sulaymaniyah and Kirkuk in Erbil on July 7-8, 2021. The workshop aimed to strengthen the role of religious leaders and religious actors in building inclusive societies.
The workshop shed light on the international conventions and treaties of human and women rights and the impact of hate speech on society, as well as the role of religious institutions and religious leaders in promoting the human rights concepts in society.
