Within the “Tabayi” project, Women Empowerment Organization, in partnership with the Mensen met een Missie organization, and in coordination with the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Kurdistan Regional Government, held a two-day workshop for the religious leaders from Erbil, Dohuk, Sulaimania and Kirkuk on 11-12 of August 2021 in Erbil. The workshop included topics related to the role of religious institutions and religious leaders in strengthening women’s participation in the peace and security process in Iraq.
