On September 15th, 2021 Ms. Suzan Aref, spoke at a live webinar organized by “Search for Common Ground” organization and entitled “Creating Meaningful Political Participation for Women in Iraq “.
Ms. Aref discussed the different challenges women running for elections in Iraq are facing, the different obstacles against their participation in decision making and the role of the civil society in empowering women’s political participation.
