The President of Women Empowerment Organization Mrs. Suzan Aref met with His Excellency the Minister of Justice of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Mr. Farsat Ahmad Abdullah on the 5th of November, 2020. The meeting was attended by the Head of Gender Unit in the Ministry, Judge Badraddin Al-Barzanji, and the legal advisor in the Women Empowerment Organization, Narmin Qaradaghi, and policy development commission members.
The President of Women Empowerment Organization expressed her gratitude and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Justice for his support in consolidating the principle of gender equality, expressed in his approval for the preparation of a gender equality policy for the Ministry of Justice on International women's day 8th of March, 2020.
