On April 4, 2021 Women Empowerment Organization held a meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Erbil. The meeting shed light on the mechanism of cooperation and joint coordination between WEO and the religious leaders in Erbil, Duhok, Al Sulaimanyah, and Kirkuk on the agenda of women peace, and security, gender-based violence and human rights. This cooperation comes within the (Tebaye) project.
