Promoting Peaceful Coexistence in Nineveh!
Women Empowerment Organization, supported by Tearfund, launched the Peaceful Coexistence between Religions (JISRA)
project in Nineveh to enhance dialogue, mutual understanding, and the role of women in peace promotion.
Activities include interfaith meetings in Tel Kaif and Al-Hamdaniya to strengthen dialogue, training on advocacy and action plans focusing on women's
role in peacebuilding, and community awareness efforts such as campaigns and a women's festival highlighting women's impact in countering violence
and hate speech. This project is a step toward a more tolerant and stable society.
