On the 27th of February 2024,
Women Empowerment Organization hosted a "Workforce Empowerment" #conference as part of the "Job Placement and Business Grant Project for Youth in the #Kurdistan Region of #Iraq", which is being implemented by WEO and funded by the UK government.
The aim of the conference was to unite experts and specialists from various sectors to engage in constructive dialogue, share insights, and exchange recommendations focused on fostering #job creation efforts and enhancing opportunities for #youth in Iraq.
Participants at the conference included representatives from #government, #NGOs, #INGOs, and private sector #companies. Throughout the conference, two panel discussions were held to promote youth development, opportunities, and strategies in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.
